Pricecare.com Names Andrew L. Simon as Chief Executive Officer

New York, New York - September 1, 2011 - Pricecare.com, the first and only website that enables online comparison shopping for medical procedures in the United States has appointed Andrew L. Simon as Chief Executive Officer of the Company.  Founder George G. Neuman will assume the responsibilities of Chairman of the Board of Directors. “I’m very pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Simon as Pricecare.com’s new CEO.  He has extensive experience with start-ups, reinventing companies and strong financial management” said Dr Neuman.

“Pricecare.com is creating a new business model for how people will shop for and obtain healthcare services.  I look forward to building our business footprint and connecting patients with providers online,” said Simon.

Andrew Simon was the founder of Questar Assessment Inc, a publically held K-12 assessment company.  He has served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Director.  Currently he still serves on the Questar Board.  In 2011 “EducationNext” named Questar one of the top innovative companies in education.

Earlier in his career Simon ran two divisions for the Bankers Trust Company and built the electronic banking unit for Citibank.  Subsequent to his career in financial services he ran portions of the proprietary/consumers products group for Lederle Labs, Revlon Health Care and L’Oreal.  He earned an MBA from Columbia University and a BA from Washington University in St Louis.  He has served on the Alumni Board of Governors for Washington University, as a trustee for the City of Poughkeepsie Partnership, the Harvey School, the George Washington University Graduate School of Education and the Hudson Valley Trust.
